Stationery

Confession: I cannot pass by a stationery shop without browsing for pencils, rulers, measuring tapes and just about anything in paper.

It was a little, fun, DIY project I did this morning. The joy derived from taking out these beauties (I think so) was perhaps even greater than the finished product. I love it when functionality and beauty in the form of clear and clean lines and shapes come together.

The translucence of the scissor handles, the simplicity of the measuring tape, the elegance of a clear pot-art on your desk.

Contents

Simple, everyday objects can have such a visual appeal. The translucent, plastic folder for my cards. The clear pouch for my coins, the little black notebook, a little notepad which doubles as a handy key ring are objects that I have picked up with care. The key ring means I never struggle to find a piece of paper to scribble a telephone number or write down an address for someone. I love objects to be multifunctional. A marriage of beauty and functionality is a marriage made in heaven.

And pens, I can never have too many pens.

The start

The intention is to fill the pages with what inspires me, makes me smile and makes me want to share.
